Purpose: Promote membership participation in the co-op, preserve the rights and roles of members, and search for solutions to membership issues and concerns.

Current responsibilities:
- Development of a Membership drive - ideas on how to recruit new members at this stage of organizing.
- Determine and create materials for New Member info packets.
- Develop and create a means of regular communication with existing members - i.e., a newsletter?
- Directing the co-op's Outreach activities, until such time as a standing outreach committee is convened.
- Develop the committee's internal processes for membership - i.e., who collects the forms, what happens to the money (coordinate that with Finance Comm. policy), who enters the names into database, who assembles and mails out the new member packet, etc.
